4 Day Wellness Retreat – Porto Santo, Portugal

What to expect

The 4 Day Wellness Retreat in Porto Santo will focus on both mental and physical health. Through daily vinyasa flow yoga, meditation, and activities with the group, we’ll channel inner calm, strength, and vitality. You will depart feeling mentally and physically rejuvenated. 

Healthy, vegan meals will be provided and eaten family style at one large table. Activities may include hiking, beach walks, active meditation (i.e. writing and reflection, movement and dance), mindfulness and creativity workshops. 

 You will also have free time to explore the island or simply relax on the beach. If you’d like, equipment rentals for water sports (surf, paddle board, wind surfing, etc.) are a few minutes walk down the beach from us. Downtown Porto Santo is a 10-15 minute walk. We’re happy to help you arrange bike rentals, as it can be a great way to see the island if you’re feeling adventurous.

Accommodations

We will stay at a lovely villa on the beach with 6 rooms, a garden, ample space to reflect, and a large, shared kitchen and dining area. You may book either a shared double room with twin beds or a private single room. The space is simple, quiet, and relaxing.

*Note: Ferry tickets are not included in this price, please ask if you need assistance with transportation to Porto Santo.

Lindsay

Lindsay is a 200 hr YA certified Vinyasa Flow yoga teacher.

She currently teaches yoga in Ponta do Sol and online. Her classes are dynamic – similar to power yoga. She incorporates breath, balance, core, strength and pilates.

Additionally, Lindsay is a passionate vegan and vegetarian chef. She creates healthy, tasty treats and uses food to heal, strengthen, and fuel the body. Lindsay will be preparing meals from a place of love and vitality during the retreat.

When she’s not cooking or flowing, you may find her running the trails on Madeira, listening to music, and moving her body!
Above all Lindsay values learning about others, caring for her community, and spreading laughter and joy to those she encounters.

Sabine

Sabine is a Vinyasa, Hatha and Prenatal yoga teacher as well as a professional dancer and choreographer.

Sabine believes the best teacher in life is ourselves, and thus, it’s invaluable to observe and expand our own awareness in order to transform that which we would like to.

Conscious movement has been Sabine’s life long path. Being a professional dancer from a young age and a yoga practitioner for 15 years, the connection between mind and body is essential for her – breath forming the bridge between these two.

Fascinated by the uniqueness of each individual and therefore the need of different approaches, Sabine offers different tools in the class so each person has the opportunity to connect to the aspect he/she requires.
Be it inner calm, an open body, a free mind, connecting to flow of energy or physical strength.
